Newbie 72 Sovereign

I bought a trashed airstream a couple of years ago and it has turned into a pet project. I am not a purist and have added many high tech upgrades (sorry).

Originally it was to be used as a deer lease trailer, but it pulls so well that I'll take it anywhere. I'm in the process of stripping and polishing it and should have taken more before/after pics. I entered this site looking for drapes and think that I'd like to participate a little more.

Hi pb - welcome to the forums! Glad you found us. Since you've already had your Airstream for a couple of years (and made a few mods), it sounds like you'd also have some advice to share with others. Don't apologize for not being a purist - many of us ended up with Airstreams that are not candidates to restore to original. I'd be very interested to see some of your changes!

I have three 8 track tapes in mine that still work......they are still as funky as they were in the 70's...

the 8-track in my Sovereign is coming out this weekend (no resemblance to recent Colorado events). Anyone want it, still in excellent working condition, let me know.
