I'm so new that I don't even own an airstream yet. ;> I'm looking to save up and get a decent used one ( or perhaps a different aluminum construction TT like a silver streak) the next year or 2 (finances willing).
The idea is to just live in it full time, which will have some potential issues given that for the first year or two Id' have it more or less parked at it's "base", which will be on a concrete slab in a sort of shed, in an area which does have winters ( Missouri winters aren't especially brutal, but they do dip below freezing pretty reliably for about 6-10 weeks or so of most years. )

Welcome to airforums.com, Sargon. I hope you enjoy your visit to our planet.

Good luck with the financial plant to own an Airstream; these days, we often need to adopt unconventional plans to achieve our goals.

On a slab in a shed, you shouldn't have much of a cold winter problem, despite the average and even peak lows in St Peters. I would still skirt the lower section of your trailer, and then even just a couple of 100 watt bulbs left on constantly should prevent freezing of the plumbing, I would expect.

You have an exceptional resource here in the accumulated knowledge on this board, so don't hesitate to ask questions.
