We just joined the forum and are happy to be part of Airstream nation. We have purchased a 1973 Tradewind that was all original with everything in working order. I put in a new floor last weekend and my wife is making curtains for the new member of our family. I have had to replace a couple of items for cosmetic purposes (sink handles) but for the most part I am ready to start polishing her up. I asked for a Cyclo polisher for Xmas. Thanks in advance for your help. I will have a post in the how-to-fix section soon. Thanks Phil and Angelica Davis.
I know how daunting it must feel as you start off on 'streaming as well as the Forums. It seems like just yesterday I was just getting started - how to write this or that without sounding silly or stupid. Now we're finishing our third year of 'streaming - and still learning. In fact, we're going out tomorrow for a couple of weeks to end the season. And up here in Ohio, most would say the season has already ended but we've just got to go out one more time. So much to see and do we can't let the last couple of weeks get away. Enjoy yourselves - it's just a great habit to get into. Got questions???? Just send to the Forums and you'll get answers!!! Good luck and Happy Trails.
Welcome Phil and Angelica to the AS family. We live in WA ST and have really enjoyed coming to San Diego in the winter. There are great information talents on this forum and they have been totally helpful when we began to rehab our '78 Argosy 27'. Enjoy your prize. jjustice
