Newbie 68 Tradewind

Today I won an auction on a 68 Tradewind, hoping to pick her up in Michigan in the coming week. Owners are new to the auction world and are a little squirrely, so that's why I am hoping. I have a Jeep Cherokee Sport, with towing package, 4x4, 4.0 litre engine, 1999, next to last year of production for this affordable big V6 gas engine. I am told she will pull just fine. Wait -- this is the Airstream forum! I am told she will follow the Jeep just fine. I'll have to get the stabilizer figured out before I arrive in Michigan. The owners are itching to get their hands on the money, pushing for the trade asap. Without the stabilizer system, would it be best to make the trip back to Dayton on the side roads rather than the interstate? The most I've pulled with the Jeep has been my modified Gheenoe camo classic. (Check it out, or one like it: http://www.gheenoe.net/fifteensix_classic.html) I will be moving to Seattle next summer and will be taking the l-o-o-o-n-n-n-n-g-g-g-g-g-g and scenic route, groovin' in the Airstream. If these owners back out on me, I'll keep looking.

Hello from Vancouver BC. In advance, we welcome you to the Wet Coast. More up and down here, but spectacular scenery. Jim

Smile The Wet Coast!

I will be heading for BC on an outing next year after I settle in. Wet Coast -- that's right!
