Hi my name is James and I have been lurking around this excellent site for a few months and decided it's finally time to say hello. my wife and I recently had our first child so all the motorcycles are gone and it's time to start camping. We have not purchased a trailer yet but are pretty set on a 25' Safari LE. I like the mix of International and Safari, and the FB has dual wraparound windows to boot. Anyway great site and glad to be here, JAMES

You are very welcome at the Forums, James. We're all Airstream aficionados here and not into behaving like "old pros." So get right into finding out everything you wish. I'd say desire for double end panoramics is split about 60:40 in favor of the double end. There's nothing wrong I've been able to discern about those that prefer the FB with one pano at the rear -- that is truly the one that is appreciated for the most hours of day and evening around camp. Me? I've got three panos -- the Argosy prototyped them before they were ever put on a sacred Airstream! Which means my Safari has the double ended.
We heartily seek involvement of young families like yours!

Welcome James! What a great way to travel and camp with your little one. We recently ordered (be here next week) a Safari with the FB floorplan. It's an LS SE, with the panos on both ends as well as the vista windows in the living area. We not only love the general look of the design, but like the open feeling it gives the interior. Also has a couple of options for one parent to hang out while baby is being put to sleep...The sofa-galley can convert easily to a nice lounge/nap area. The forums were are an unbelievable resource. Just hit "search" and have fun!

Welcome James. Get your camera ready. We all like photo's!!! Been a little lax on that myself, but I'm working on it. Don't forget the older rigs as a possibility in your search. They have such great personalities, and folks here can give you good advise on getting them roadworthy.

A great choice indeed, you won't find many 25FB owners who wouldn't do it again.

james --You're not alone in your choice of trailers. We visited the factory a few months back and they were everywhere on the line. The fellow giving the tour said they were the hot thing going now. That was obvious by the number we saw being built. I would imagine if you don't find one in stock you'll have a sizeable weight.---pieman
