NewAirstream from Bill's RVer on the Block

We we picked up our new 23' Safari SE/LS from Billy Sim's in Lubbock, TX on Monday 15 May 2006. They where great and really made our maiden voyage to the South West worry free. They made sure that we had what we needed and didn't try to sell us thing we didn't. Our Safari towed like a dream and was easy to maneuver in and out of the over night locations. We have put over 2800 miles on the unit so far and looking forward to another couple hundred miles until we get home.

New Safari 23

Welcome to the world of Airstream

Yea, it's a bad bug that Airstream! Now you're going to want to go and do things, exercise and be with family and friends. Damn, less sitting in front of the TV and becoming a couch patato!

Welcome Aboard! May your trips and adventures be joyous and safe

Happy Trails,

Safari-Rick

It's good to hear that there's a good Airstream dealer in good old Lubbock, Texas, home of the Texas Tech Red Raiders, Buddy Holly and hometown of my "First Wife" of 38 years now. Go Raiders!

Good reputation

Billy Sims has a good reputation for square dealing. Too bad that he is a hard day's drive from us here in central Texas.

I am told by some of the older members of our unit that he has a wizard sheet metal man and that's where thry would go to get a panel replaced.

Back to the House

Our trip took us almost 5000 miles, through New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Illinios and back home to Indiana. We pulled the Safari almost 4000 of the 5000 miles. It was a flawless trip. We have been planning weekend outing that will cover the next couple of month. In fact we are going to group camp with three other couple (all family members) in about a month. We are thrilled with our decision to purchase our Airstream, Thanks to Billy Simms for getting us started off on the right foot...

Still Camping

Well, we have been camping for the last two weekend. To get a better start to the weekend, I've called my boss on Friday morning and telling him I need a vacation day. So far he's been agreable and I get an earlier start. Love the Airstream. I think I'm addicted to camping in my Airstream. I haven't even un-hitched my truck from the camper for over a month....Want to be prepared in case the urge for camping overcomes me..
