We were like you. We had thought 23' would be the longest we wanted to pull. Then after walking many trailers we realized we needed space. We plan to camp in the summers in the Pacific NW and then winter in Palm Springs, CA. We decided on a 27'. So far not sorry. Good you are out walking the trailers!

As Aage said be careful what you buy, you can get a 31 to 34 foot Airstream used for $10000 to $15000 or less depending on age and the same in a 25 to 27 will cost you $15000 to $25000 more. See what a 3 year old 30 is bringing ,you can rent a lot of airstream trailers for the difference to see if you like it. Few people have the resources to have or buy a Diesel truck to pull a 9,000 lb loaded airstream but can afford a 6 cyl or small V8 SUV or truck.
Looking is half the fun.
