"New" vintage owners

As Airstream admirers for a long time, we just bought a 1963 22 footer, and have many questions for fixing it up to sleep four instead of the current two sleeper.
Advice on adding bedding to the front curve area is welcome! Are there pre-made frames for this?

Thank you!

I have a 20 footer

The front of mine has a dinette that turns into a double bed.

BTW….I always leave it in bed mode because I eat and cook outside.

SO…You could…just make a double bed up front. It would be much easier and cheaper. If you need to eat inside, you could use those folding TV tables

P.S. The front of your trailer might be where some important stuff is located ( pump/fresh water tank. You will want to build the structure so that the underneath is easily accessible, with enough room to get at things.

Thank you, like the idea of the double bed there. Checking for photos of beds 'in the curve'.
