New to us but she's old

My family purchased our very first Airstream a couple days ago. The problem we are having now is determining exactly what we have. The only identification markings we have on the outside of the door is the Airstream tag with the number 8282 on it. Can't find anything on the A frame but I'm not certain exactly where to look.

Mowser she looks quite lovely and cared for and somewhat renovated. Standby as those in the know will chime in. In addition to the nameplate they can tell lots just by looking at her various accessories, panels and windows. You ll know soon enough what year and model.

Probably some mods done over the years but the serial number would indicate a California built 1957 Flying Cloud, at least to me. Vintage Airstream Photo Archives

'57 was a very good year.
