New to us- 1985 Sovereign Centre bath

Bought a "new to us" 1985 25 ft Sovereign centre bath in October 2014. However, our "Silver Sally" had to go back to the dealer for the last two months When we ripped out the 30 year old carpet... yup you guessed it...the floors were all rotten. And the outriggers too! All new plywood floor at both ends now and new the outriggers are in. Unfortunately, it is -25 degrees now with lots of snow on the ground. It is just too cold to go out and work in it. I have recovered the couch and will make new drapes/blinds while we wait for better weather. Can't wait to get cleaning and renovating. First job is to fill all the rivet holes in the walls where "things" were taken out. There are LOTS of holes! Do you just use caulking or wood fill? I know we will learn lots from all the experienced airstream owners.
