Smile New to this Forum

Hi! I'm Bob Caldwell; my wife Darlene and I are Airstreamers from Edmonton Alberta Canada. We have owned an Airstream since 1986 - currently have downsized to a 25' Excella - 1988. We pull with an old GMC Suburban - 1986 vintage.

We still both work full-time and are just beginning to look forward to being able to do more traveling. Thought I would join and see what I could learn.

Hi Bob! Let me welcome you and Darlene to the Forums! There's lots and lots of info here, so we hope you'll spend lots of time with us. When you have a question about something Airstream related, use the "Search" function in the blue bar across the top of the page. You'll be amazed at how much info is here! Be sure to ask if you have any questions or need help. Someone will help you out!

Roger

Welcome to the forum. If you think your Suburban is old, ours must be like new (89),eh? If you have any questions re:AS, this is the place.

1986 is not old at all in fact it is newer than my motor home.
Welcome to the forums.

Bob and Darlene,

Welcome to the forum. We also work full time, but manage to get out in our 63 overlander as much as possible.
This is a great place to learn more about airstreams.
Marie

Welcome Bob and Darlene. I'm formerly from Edmonton (and Calgary and Lethbridge). We use a 1957 stationwagon to tow our 1951 Airstream so I think we're pushing the "old" envelope a tad, but then both of these are newer than we are (not by much). You will find that there are a large number of folks on this forum with units very similar to yours.
