New to the Forum!
A friendly "Airstreamer" Hello to the community.
I have a 1977 Excella 500. We purchased it 3 years ago and have had several tremendous vacations! My parents also own an Excella 500, 1977, purchased new. They talked us into ours when they came accross it at a dealership. We are glad they did. We are a family of 5, Mom, dad, teenage daughter, grade school daughter and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. We will be doing a few renovations this year, so I am looking forward to input. So far we've only had to do basic things like replace carpet and recovered the sofa, which I did myself.
Looking forward to spring and "streamin" soon!
Susan

Welcome from across the border to the North. I love those 70's trailers, definitely the best Airstream ever made. Do you get up this way camping? Would like to introduce our Spaniel to yours.

If you haven't already run across the discussion, there is going to be a Midwest Forums Rally at Morraine View State Park just outside of LeRoy, IL (just a few miles West of Champaign on Interstate 74) in June, see:
http://www.airforums.com/forum...y=2006-6-9&c=1
This is always a great Rally with listmembers from all over the Midwest. Despite living only a few miles away, I am not certain whether I am going to be able to make this year's Rally due to other committments. For the past three years, it has served as my kick-off for the season. If you have the time, this is sure to be a memorable rally.

Thank you fellow "Illinois-an". I am looking forward to sharing information and the contagious airstream spirit and excitment. We are still learning the ropes and have had just a blast so far sharing this experience with my parents. (Twin '77 Excella's)

Hi there Wisconsin Airstreamer!
In fact we keep our 1977 Excella in Stoughton, WI. in a nice little campground. My parents also keep their 1977 Excella there too. It is a nice weekend home away from home for us. This will be our third year there.
