new to site and looking

I just found this site.. We are in search of a fixer upper..that would meet are camping needs...My husband and I have two younger children and just do camping on the weekends...It is his dream to own an airstream and we are willing to put our hard work, and love into it in order to realize that dream sooner that later!!! I look forward to learning more and more aobut the airstream world..this site looks like a good start

You didn't say how old your small children were but one of the features I liked about the '85 and later trailers was the availability of a mid/side bathroom with either twins at the back of the trailer (or full corner bed) and fold down sofa in the front. This way, either adults or kids could get up during the night, use the bathroom and then go back to bed without going past the twin beds you might find in previous years in the middle of the trailer. There are some pre-'85 rear bedrooms but they are not readily found.
