New to site and just bought a 63 Tradewind

We just purchased a 63 Tradewind that I want to gut and restore. This is all brand new to me and want to know where to start or a step-by-step
manual. Thanks!

You've come to the right place for restoration advice. There are so many knowledgeable Airstreamers on this site. Good luck with your project!!

Welcome to the forums. You are in the right place for everything you need to know about restoring our Trade Wind but you will have to do a little homework using the search feature. I don't know of a manual or step by step for the whole project but there is plenty of info on about anything aspect of a restoration.
From my experience the two things I underestimated were the time and the money to get it all done. What every you think you will need, triple it and you will be close on both accounts.

Good luck

another '63!

Welcome to the forums! Are there very many Airstreams in Hawaii?

Uwe's thread, the link below, is always a great place to start.

Mahalo everyone...

thanks for your kind words and encouragement, advice. Don't know if there are any other Airstreams in Hawaii, we could be the only one. I will keep you updated and I'm sure I will have lots of questions. Good to be on board.
