New to RVing!

We jumped in also buying a 30" Land Yacht. We recently retired and tent camping (sleeping!) was not as comfortable as it used to be. Additionally, we live most of the year in Montana which had an unusual (?) summer of grizzly bear activity. Once we decided to get a RV - we zeroed in on an AS. Picked up the MH last and looking forward to many new and exciting experiences. Shake down trip will be next week.

Hey, congrats and welcome. We began with a small tent then larger as family grew..then popups and now just the 2 of us and or Airstream. Yes, bears were and STILL are even a concern. Use the same caution as there's photos somewhere in these Forums of what an Alaskan grizzly did to an Airstream.

The Montana and Alberta-Saskatchewan units of the WBCCI plan this rally. Next year (2012) the rally will be in Montana, and then the next year, on the Canadian side. It's great fun.
