New to RVing

Just joined the forum after purchasing a Westfalia. I recently retired and looking forward learning how to sucessfully travel with a RV, especially on how best to organize my Westfalia and how to plan an RV trip (locating RV camp grounds etc).

There is an RV atlas available through TRAILER LIFE Magazine; it is very helpful. Also, become familiar with www.woodalls.com for campsite locations and facilities.

Al,
Depends on where you want to stay. With the Westfalia you could stay about anywhere. You have national parks, state parks, and Walmart Parks

Al--my suggestion would begin by doing several trips close by home. if you have friends that rv try to do a weekend with them. there are some basics you need to learn before getting out to far.---pieman

What perfect timing. I was looking for something like this. Thanks Moostags.
