New to me 34 foot

After a ten day trip in our 76 Sovereign, we realized we wanted to look at something newer with better sleeping arrangements.

The planets aligned and I found an 1982 34 Limited close by. It is in great shape, no pealing plasticote, no dents, stored inside, etc. The interior is pretty much original.

We took it to Algonquin Park two days after we got it. I've since replaced all the PB with PEX as it started leaking (even though it was fine in the PO's driveway).

Here are some pics - I'll try to get some better exterior ones.

Beautiful trailer that has had outstanding care and kept inside. I bet the curtains are original and not falling apart yet (like mine in our 84). Great that you found this and appreciate what you have now.

Beautiful trailer, what a find. Congratulations.

We've got a 34' 1984 International with the identical layout. I'll be picking it up from CanAm this coming Thursday, with a new floor and fresh upholstery installed.

We'll be getting it painted in fall, but for now we've got trips planned, first to Lake Erie, then up to Lake Simcoe and finally for Thanksgiving down to Presqu'ile Provincial Park.

Where did you stay in Algonquin ?

Thanks everyone,

We're very happy with it so far. The extra space is really nice with a three year old. My wife loves having the dinette. Ironically, I'm quite happy with the carpet - we have hardwood at home so it's a bit of a treat!

One thing I wonder about is the BAL jacks it has - all the others I've seen have a hex bolt that is turned to operate it. These have a tube that the wrench slides into and turns a square nut way inside. The PO said they put those on the limited. One of the nuts is stripped so I'm wondering if it's even the right one.

That's great! I had been looking at that one on their site for a while but hadn't made it down there to look at it yet. You'll love it!

We stayed at Mew Lake and had a wonderful site right by the lake. The last time we were there we did Pog Lake and it was great too.

Awesome site, right by the lake. Looks perfect for the kids - I see toys.
I know ours would be in heaven. I'm going to look that site up for next year - I've got a list of all the best sites in our "local" parks that I try and book.

That bug netting too looks like a great idea, especially for Algonquin. Did you get that afterwards (and if so, where please) or did it come with the trailer?
