New to airstreams

Hello everyone.
we are new to airstreams having just purchased a 1954 25' "whale tail" cruiser.
the number is 6447. I do not know anything about airstreams. where do I find more information on this trailer? How many were made? It has a factory interior with a bath and rear double bed. Neat preway stove and seperate oven. Even has the original table.
need info on this model of trailer and have not been able to find much information. Only info found was it was made in CA. How desireable are these trailers?
thanks for the help

Welcome '54cruiser ~

With that serial number, yours is definately a '54 model. I went back to look at the archive page for the '54 Cruiser and had forgotten I had taken the pix of the last trailer on there. If yours is like the one shown, you have a nice floorplan. Do you have the twin beds in the rear? Welcome aboard.
