New to Airstreams

Just wanted to introduce myself as a new member of the forum. My name is Mike and my wifes name is Veronica and we are from Northern Alberta. We are not new to RVing, coming from a long line of 38'+ 5th Wheels and dually trucks. Looking to simplfy our travel rigs and the Airstream is the only way to go. While not new to RVing, we have lots to learn about traveling with an Airstream and I look forward to spending time, on what I have already learned, is a very valuable Forum.

We have a new to us 2016 International Serenity 27FB. It was only used a couple of times by the previous owner and parked in a quonset the rest of the time, so it is like new.

That said, the first thing we did, after the Walbernize treatment, was do the 16 wheel and tire conversion, (T03 Sendels and Michelin tires), add centramatic wheel balancers and move over our old TST TPMS. I was more than a little surprised to see what kind of tires Airstream install on these trailers from the factory.

At any rate, on with the learning and glad to be a forum member.

Welcome to the Airstream community and these Airstream Forums. Congratulations on your International 27'. Alberta is a great province, and northern Alberta in the winter is for hardy folks. Maybe you can head south during the winter months.

Jump right into these Forums. I saw a 2016 Flying Cloud and it had Goodyear Marathons on it. I did not check the country of origin. That tire does not have a good name around here but the failure rate is rather small. Take your chances.
