Welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us. You've found the right place for all things Airstream.

We need pics and a description of what is wrong with it.

Welcome to the Forum and congratulations on becoming a Vintage Tradewind owner.
If you've got questions we got answers. Sometimes more than you need or want, but we all mean well.
Don't forget to post pics.
Good luck and enjoy your new rig.

Baseman- Welcome to the Forum. TW are the greatest. Of course, I would not mind having a Globetrotter or a Bambi either.

Welcome! I think I've almost come to the point of thinking that if you have scooped up putrid, soggy, vermin infested pink insulation, wearing a hazmat suit and straddling a rotted out hole in a wood floor while standing on a rusted out frame, you're probably an Airscream owner.

Eastern South Dakota is very pretty with hills, rivers, and trees.

As to what's wrong with it: significant frame corrosion behind rear wheels, and around step area, univt not charging the battery, leaks around th holding tank valves ( looks like I will have to remove the rear half of the belly pan to repair the dump valves, will get a better look at the rear frame then) out side is fairly good interior is in pretty good shape , although PO did overlay the front half of the floor with plywood and dollar store sticky tile. Outside pane of one of the front windows is busted but the inner pane is still intact

You're going to want to remove the bellypan behind the wheels & really check the chassis integrity. If you see rust now, there is likely a lot more thats hidden. Check the floor, just next to the wall all of the way around the trailer. If you find rot...............& you probably will, there will be rust on the frame members below. If the PO put overlay plywood up front, my bet would be more rot there too. This trailer may need to be gutted in order to do significant floor/chassis repairs.
