New to Airstream and just right-sized from a motorhomr

Since 2003 we have been RV’ing in motorhomes, starting with a 33’ gas rig and more recently in a 40’ DP. During this period we were running between 8-10,000 miles per year and spent over 50% of our time in our RV.
But now our travel plans and lifestyle have changed and we don’t expect to travel more than 1-2,000 miles per year (at most); and will probably spend only a few days a month in an RV.
So we have right-sized from a motorhome to an Airstream.
I’ve posted on our blog the what and why of our change and will be adding more information about our new adventures on a regular basis. The thread starts at Right-Sizing from a Motorhome to a Travel Trailer
We're happy to join this new community and are looking forward to meeting fellow Airestreamers during our travels.

Good choice and congrats! What Airstream size/model/year did you decide to get? We're new to any type of RVs and are very happy with our decision to keep it right-sized and right-"styled" in our 19' serenity.
