New to Airstream

We recently purchased a 1984 27' Soverign. Got it from the place of purchase, winterized and to storage before the 20 degree weather hit. We live in Oklahoma and just can't wait for out first outing, dogs and all.

Thumbs up Welcome

HWJOE,
welcome to the group. You will find all sorts of GREAT INFO here.

If you can think of it AND it pertains to an Airstream, it is on here someplace. OR someone can get or does have the answer.

Have a blast "shinin' in the sun" next summer.

Claude

Dogs and all...

My wife and I are also new to trailer camping. We have tent camped for the 20 years and in August we broke down and bought a 30' 1993 Excella 1000. We also purchased a 2004 Chevy 2500HD Diesel as a tow vehicle (TV). The first night out we did not even know how to turn the heat on...and it was cold. On our last trip the rockguard aka segment protector blew off and was lost. On another occasion the grey water backed up into the shower. Just getting comfortable with the hitch-up took some time. We have three dogs. The main reason we decided to trailer camp. We don't have to leave the dogs in some hotel. If you ever come far enough south, we are in San Antonio, and you see a rockguard halfway between here and there, let me know!

Airsteaming has changed my wife's and mine lifestyle, it gives a whole new meaning to life and another avenue in which to enjoy it. Whenever you can afford to not have to work during the winter months, snowbird here in Florida, we have room for a few more! I worked outside today and worked up a sweat pressure washing a house, it was so warm.
