New owners of '59 AS Tradewind 24'

Thought I 'd take a minute to introduce my crowd. I am Bob(44) and my wife Jan (40ish) and I bought a '59 Tradewind 2 days ago. It is in really great shape (as far as I can tell) though many things about it are not original. We plan on taking our first trip to a lake in central NC this coming weekend (Labor Day). We will only be a few miles from home in case we forget something inportant, like one of the kids.

We will be camping in a state park, so hopefully, if I need help, there will be a host camper around.

I am sure that we will be posting pics in the next few weeks, just because that's the kind of folks we are. I am also sure that many questions will arise, so watch for my newbie posts.

Talking Howdy from the Heartland !

Great to have you and your silver baby on board. Glad to hear that you have purchased a vintage trailer that actually can go somewhere without reworking the entire silver monster - like ours!!

Chat night is on Tuesday at 9:00 your time - see you there!

The registry is up to 67 including this recent one of bgarver's although I am trying to be patient on collecting his info. At the present time, 27 are CA and 27 are OH. Its neck and neck.
