New owner to 2016 25fb Flying Cloud

My husband and I just purchased a new airstream in South Carolina! We would love to take it out for the first time this coming weekend with our 3 young kids for our maiden voyage. Does anyone have any suggestions on where we should go that is relatively close to "learn the ways"? Also, does anyone have any tips and tricks for our first time out?? Cannot wait and so excited!

On I-26 near Columbia is a Campground called The Barnyard. It has long level pull through sites, full hook ups and a nice place in general, perfect for a shakedown trip. Google it, good luck.

Check your tire pressure. My dealer had mine off a little here and there. Working too quickly and just saying that's close enough was the problem. Anyway, make sure tires are up and same pressure. Also, light your refrigerator a day or two before you leave to get it cooled down. Try to only put items in it that have been refrigerated so it won't have to work to cool them. Remember to put a charge on the black tank before you leave home so you can use the potty on the road. Have a few gallons of water in the fresh water tank to flush and wash hands. Have fun! This is a great time of year to travel!
