A few owners later, I have purchased the 2005 Airstream Interstate that was featured in this YouTube video.
I purchased it in July of 2013. It now has 61,000 miles on it.
I am removing many of the “tailgating” features and returning it back into more of a conventional motorhome. Granted, there may be no such thing as a “conventional” motorhome. But what I mean is plans include adding refrigerator, house water filtration, storage on the bumper, 2-3 AGM batteries, adding storage inside to match the cherry interior, and maybe next year solar. I plan to optimize it for boondocking, maybe 2-3 days at a time. These are not questions, yet, just my plans. And I will do my best to search.
I want to do things without having to re-do them later, or have projects conflict, because I chose the wrong option and pay for it later in time and money. So far so good with the easy stuff.
Anyway, I have many pictures to share, from the easy stuff, that may help other new members such as myself with this particular model. And I may have to ask a question on the tougher stuff.
