New owner of '77 Sovereign

Well, We just took the plunge and purchased a 1977 Sovereign on e-bay so we will be driving to Ohio on Friday to give it the look see and bring it home. Some little things, but we're pretty excited about the classic look and feel of an airstream.. I'll be scouring the forums for helpful information as we move forward.. Even the wife is excited!!!
Greg

I went onto eBay and peeked at your new Airstream. Congrats! It looks to be in very good shape and at a decent price Let us know how the pick-up goes!

Way to go, Greg! And a big welcome to the forums. Your pickup point is less than two hours from the "Mother Ship" in Jackson Center, OH. Do you plan on taking it there for any work right away?

I think your TT is ebay #260392541073, correct? If so, it's a real good looking one, clean interior, and my favourite layout (just like mine! ).

Please tell us what you are going to tow it with? By the way, in case you haven't noticed, you'll find we are a real nosey bunch.

Thumbs up Thank you everyone!

Thanks to everyone who welcomed me on board already.. I'll see if I can remember all of the questions in this thread.. Yes it is ebay item #260392541073. It's about 320 miles each way to my pickup point. I'll be towing it with a '06 F250 Crew cab diesel and I'm taking my 12 year old son with (who is almost as excited as I am). I haven't pulled a large trailer since I put my way through college 26+ years ago driving a semi hauling milk and groceries but I think it'll come back to me.
I'm already impressed with the folks here.. I'll get pictures up as soon as I can..

Thanks Everyone!
Greg
