New owner of 1956 Caravanner

Hello everyone - just rescued a 56 Caravanner. I'm a busy mom of three, wife, and teacher - so her make-over won't happen overnight - but have help from my handy Dad. So excited to be on this adventure! We're already on our way taking up her floor and problem solving all the important stuff!

We had a 56 Caravanner and loved it. Great trailer. Glad to hear you have some help, you are going to have quite a project!

Congrats!
It's quite an adventure, but worth it. Hope you enjoy the whole process.

Since I have one I'm prejudiced, but I think Caravanners are the best!! We've got windows like no other model.

Take your time and it will get done, one step at a time, and she'll be ready for another 50 years.

cheers,
steve

We have a 57 caravanner we are in the process of rescuing from her present home in the frigid north (Alaska). We've spent two weeks getting her ready for her journey south and soon will hit the road. I look forward to sharing restoration stories. Connecting with owners (present and former) is half the fun of owning these beauties
