New owner in VA

I've been on the forum for awhile, but just became a happy camper, sort of.

I've purchased a beautiful 1992 34' Excella. It's in MI and I'm in VA. And I found my dream trailer before I found a tow vehicle, so it'll be a couple of weeks before I get it.

Next Friday is the first of several estate sales at my 100 yr old, very full, 5000 sq ft house. When everything is gone, I'll sell the house and move into the Excella. I believe if there is an award for "extreme downsizing", I'd be a contender.

I guess I won't be traveling much for awhile (at least until I find a TV to pull it). My son keeps asking "I thought Airstreams were the ones you could tow with a bicycle?"

But I'll enjoying the "Airstream life" by living in my new find AND through this great group.

gosh, if Charles Kerault were still around, I'd give him a call! What a great story--"Man loses 40,000 pounds!"
