If you're looking for REALLY close I would recommend Armitage Park. It's right outside of town, has nice spots and is close enough so that you can run into town a few times for the things that you've forgotten!

Welcome Harpo and congrats on your new shiny addition!! I live in Eugene and bought my 16' Sport from Sutton RV also.

For camping with full hookups, I like Deerwood RV Park, just south of Eugene, about 3 miles down I-5. It's in a wonderful wooded area with a small creek running thru it and the folks are great!

Whatever you choose, have a great time!!!!

Thank you for the recommendations

We may stop by both "post-natal" facilities to preview before we take delivery of the new "baby". We want to make sure our first "get acquainted" place is just right. You know -- somewhere where just the right amount of adequate care and attention can be given to insure that once the new addition is back home everyone feels comfortable and well adjusted.

Harpo-how's your new AS? We are planning a summer trip to Portland, so we'll be passing through your beautiful state. Hope you love your baby as much as we do ours!

Loving it so far...

Still proceeding with the familiarization and the purchasing processes. We plan to continue with our "get acquainted" period by taking her camping near Ashland next week. Everything seems to be working fine so far. I look forward to taking our bikes this go-around and having them protected in the trailer. Later we will try and see how well we can take along the kayaks.
