New owner and new RV'er

Hello All,
Just bought a 190 B Airstream Camper Van (used). Very excited to be an Airstream owner and part of this community. I have so much to learn and hoping you all can help me along the way. I live in California (Bay Area) and need to find an RV shop that can do a thorough check on all the systems and can fix any findings. Anybody out there know of somewhere in San Jose, CA?

Thanks in advance

Babsy

Hi Babsy,

Congrats on the new purchase and welcome to the forums. My wife and I got our start RVing by borrowing my parent's Class B (Roadtrek). They've moved on to a larger rig, and my wife and I recently purchased a vintage camper, but I still miss the Class B. I hope you have as much fun with your's as I've had borrowing one

Unfortunately, I'm a long way from California, so I can't offer any advice on places to bring it.

Check out Vinnie's North Bay Airstream (415-878-7071 & 707-861-8116; vlamica@comcast.net; 2989 Wiljan Ct. Suite B Santa Rosa CA 95407) I have not used him personally but know several people who speak very highly of him.

Good luck and have fun with your new adventure!

Hello and congrats! We always stop at the RV and marina in Stockton. We back up to the river and watch the ocean liners come in. Nice park, good power and very clean.

Good luck and maybe we will see you there someday,

Mike and Gloria

I'm sure Bay Area Airstream up in Fairfield will help (707) 549-6094. I was told that their network of dealers is the largest Airstream network in the country. My Classic is currently in their hands getting warranty repairs done.

Thanks Jerry! I was actually on the search for a Road Trek but couldn't find one in Cali....and when I stumbled on the 190B Airstream I couldn't pass it up. Thanks for saying hello and welcoming me to the group.
Safe travels.
