New on the block.

We are looking at purchasing a 1994 Excella 31' Airstream. I'v always loved the look of an Airstream. She appears to be in good to excellent condition. I was curious as to the price one should expect to pay? To repolish and re-stripe the blue what does that entail? If you need a new sofa where do you find a curved one to fit? Is the Excella looked down on by other Airstream owners? What about finding parts for repairs? Are the airconditioning, fridge, etc. pretty standard. Towing, is it that much better than the usual box type trailers? If anyone can help I would sure appreciate a response. Thanks, Lou

Welcome Lou!

I have a 2005 Safari 19' so I am of absolutely no help on your value question, but I did have a tree find my rig last year... Chose to bring it back to the mothership in Jackson Center... She literally looks new once again! I realize you're a long ways from JC but you may want to give the Customer Service a call and request some insight as to the folks in your area that can accomplish this work for you...

Best of luck! If this rig isn't the one for you, I trust you'll find it soon. Best of luck.

Welcome Lou! You're very close to Airstream of Spokane - they should be able to help you out with any parts questions. Good luck with your buying decision.
