I've been a member for some time, but never posted a big Texas Howdy to my fellow members! So... HOWDY!!!
I bought a SOB almost 40 years ago that I restored and travelled many miles with. Then job travels that occupied most of my time made me a homebody when not working.
In 1997 I purchased my first Airstream to restore. In 2003 and 2004 I bought another in each year. Now I have three in various stages of restoration.
I retired in December 2006 and as soon as my wife and I get our act together and at least one of the Airstreams completed you will see us on the road.
I really enjoy all the helpful and informative posts and I plan to contribute when I can.
Welcome, Dale and Shirley! More Missourians! We are so glad you are posting now so we can get to know about your Airstreams and restoration efforts. Have you noticed the Moraine View Midwest Forums Rally in June? It's great fun, mostly midwesterners who gather, and it's not so very far to go. (You can find rally listings on the home page, bottom.) You'll meet quite a few people you've "met" in postings on the forum and get to see a great selection of diverse Airstreams. ~G

Dale and Shirley, Welcome from the midwest! We are glad you are here and hope to see you on the road in the near future. I only have one A/S but getting it road ready is a real project so I can feel your pain. But, Three Wow you must really have it bad! Lol! Aluminitis is a very addictive thing... Huh? Anyway "get 'er done" and enjoy! Happy Trails, Ed

Hi Dale and Shirley,
Welcome to the forum! Thanks for the Texas howdy - my wife is from Texas, in fact she and my daughter are back there this week visiting her family while I'm at work.
3 Airstreams, huh? That should keep you busy for a while. When you get a chance, post some photos if you have them, we always enjoy seeing other folks trailers, projects, trips, etc.
Nice to have you here,
Dave
Welcome to the Forum....I grew up in Oak Grove, Missoura and went to Mizzou.....now live in Venice, CA but I still have family and friends in Missouri, the great show-me state. We hope to bring our Suite Spot back to Missouri someday. Hope to see you on the road somewhere...pj
