Hello all. Alan & Donna Lester here - new Airstream owners (as of today) and excited. We had been looking at travel trailers for a couple of months now and just could not find anything that we both liked. I kept looking at Airstreams online, but was put off by the prices the nice ones command. To make a longer story shorter, yesterday we happened upon a 1972 Overlander (I think it's an Overlander) that was in decent shape and the price was right. Former owner is delivering to us today. Can't want. Will be towing this with a 2011 Nissan Titan which has a towing capacity of 9500 lbs. The data plate on the trailer indicated that the GVW is 6200 lbs, so should be fine there. Will be looking forward to the good advice and tips to be found here. Hopefully a new and exciting adventure awaits and some fun shared with other owners.
