I'm still here. It took me awhile to find this thread again. The whole internet thing is confusing. We did buy our Airstream and named her The Cloud Atlas. Trying to figure out how to post pictures of her. Our house goes on the market one week from tomorrow after the last small update will be complete. We will probably camp around here for a bit to get acclimated and keep an eye on the house. Does anyone know how to post pictures on here? The wife started a Facebook Blog about our travels. She named it Jack & Elizabeth's Excellent Adventure.

We have a 34 footer too, although not as new and nice as yours. We find it very comfortable. Ours has the twin bed floor plan. And it tows nicely, and even better with our new Pro Pride no sway hitch.

Happy Trails ...

cwf, Sorry for the delay in response. Been packing & upgrading the house for hopefully a quick sale. We have a 2001 one owner 34' Excella, coming soon from AZ. Will be pulling with our 06 Dodge 2500 4WD, Cummins Turbo Diesel. It has done fine with our large horse trailer.

Congratulations on finding one of those long beauties. You saved yourself a lot of money by getting the big unit first. The "two more feet" itis will not be a future problem, at least with an Airstream.

We started with a 25FB International Serenity and six months later ordered a 27FB Classic and month later changed the order to a 31' Classic model 30. I watched it come down the assembly line at Jackson Center starting 2 January 2014.

The forums will provide tons of information. Welcome aboard.

I got my '34 from Arizona, too... While you won't have to worry about moisture, yet, be sure to inspect the skylights and other plastic on the roof. Unless it was stored inside for most of it's life, all the plastic outside will need to be replaced due to UV damage. Happy Camping! Be sure to check out Lake Wilson near Russell for one of your shake down camping trips.

Hey All! We're still out here fulltiming and enjoying the heck out of ourselves! We don't normally have very good internet so we're often restricted to just smart phone use which makes it difficult to post very often. However, in our current location in Gulf Shores Alabama there is perfect internet and we are able to use our computer. Thus, I'm posting today! We've been staying a month in most places, two months in others, since we left Kansas in October. We listed the house the first of July, had an offer within three weeks, and a closing before the end of August so that went well.

We've joined WBCCI, our number is 8190; been to our first ever Airstream Rally, AlumaFlamingo in Sarasota Florida; got our AARP cards AND our first Geezer Discount, 15% off at Denny's in Tallahassee.

Hi Dr. Jack, we're planning on traveling the Alabama coast in April with our 86 Limited. I'm happy you are enjoying yourselves. You need a "hot spot" so you can have internet service where ever you are. Campground WiFi is limited at best. Our hot spot works very well for us.
