New member with a new Safari

Well the lovely silver thing is now mine. Our new 25' Safari FB/SE is currently sitting in the lot of Colonial Airstream all payed for and awaiting the arrival of our new tow vehicle. However, the rascals at the car dealship promised us the truck in six weeks and that was seven weeks ago . Now I just sit and look at pictures of airstreams and read this forum. The good news is I'm learning things here rather then learning them on the road . Thanks for all the good tips and I hope to be on the road sometime in May enjoying our new trailer.

Welcome to the Forums Art & Marti! I've appreciated what Patrick at Colonial has done to provide great photos of current models.

What is right about your situation? 25' FB SE -- you betcha! One of our dogs is a clown Airedale. We've also had Scotties before. What do you have?

Did you custom order your tow vehicle? Which kind?

It's great looking forward to the summer, especially with a new Airstream in hand! Woo-hoo!!

tow vehicle & terrier

The terrier is a male wire fox terrier just over two years old and so full of energy he's a joy to watch. It should be fun having him with us on the road.
The tow vehicle is a Ford F150 FX4 that I special ordered. I wanted some frills that apparently are not commonly found on "on the lot" samples so I had them send in a factory order. The folks at Chapman Ford said about 6 weeks. Giving them the benefit of the doubt "about" is not rock solid but I sure do want to try out my new AS so I am getting crabby! The weather is breaking, I'm just retired.... it's time to hit the road.. and I want my truck!!!
