New member... trailer sight unseen

I am a newbie.
My husband and I just got a 19ft Bambi International 2006. I have not laid eyes on it, or ever been in an Airstream - I am very excited. It comes home this weekend! We have a 1991 21ft toyota winnebago warrior that we loved, but wanted to do longer trips, so we are selling the warrior and welcoming Bambi. We are planning to do a 3 month trip next year from Florida to Vancouver Island. Will keep you all posted. I know I will love the new Airstream.

Fort DeSoto Park in extreme south pinellas county is a good place to camp, as is Alafia River State Park in Brandon, and Myakka River State Park in Sarasota.

We will definitley check those out! Thanks. If you get up Pensacola way, check out Blackwater River State Park. Great Canoeing and Tubing with private sites.

Congratulations! Many years ago I was in a campground in Ft. Lauderdale that was mostly filled with Bluebird coaches with my 67. Very pricy units. I had two couples that owned Bluebirds big enough to put my Airstream inside and still have room left over ask for tours of my little unit. One wife exclaimed, Its so cute! Its round on the inside too! What other shape would it be? Seriously, you will really enjoy the inside, especially the first time.

I know I will be 'wowed' when I see it. I saw one at a campground and my husband keep trying to pull me away from spying in the windows ( they were blacked out to keep peeping toms like me away!) It just looked so cool. I was fascinated. So I can't wait to step inside and see where I will be staying on our next adventure. We will always own an RV. The Warrior was our home and provided a place of sanctuary after losing our home in a hurricane. That's why we chose a Airstream. Something that is timeless and will always be with us.

I checked out the link. We will have to make a trip there.. looks great. We have some time constraints as well. So we hope to make the most of our Maiden voyages. Have fun in Mariana. Send some pics. If you get up to Alabama let me know. We found some cool campgrounds in the Talladega area.
