New member to site, Streamline owner

We are new to the site and welcome any input as we venture toward rehabbing our 1968 Streamline Prince. We are currently tearing the floor out and stuck on the black water tank....how to get the flange off? Any advice would be appreciated!

I loved it from the moment I set my eyes on it, still do, although it is probably much more work than we imagined.

Hi greengirls - welcome to the Forum!

Yes, vintage kin are very welcome here at AIR. So many of the systems are generic to the RV field; for instance, water heaters have been approximately the same modular size in either 6- or 10-gallon options for decades.

Welcome, welcome, welcome... Post in a specific topic forum to get more attention on any given issue. Our members' individual experiences tend to be variable but specialized. Your flange for instance -- I'd take a picture, resize it to 900 x 1200 pixels and post about it at the plumbing subforum. Come up with a clear thread title explaining your issue. No "Houston, we've got a problem" titles, you know what I mean...

More general threads (and pictures please ) could be placed in the vintage kin subforum.

Look for the 1970 Silver Streak Sabre restoration thread link to blog (Sandridge Airpark) as the work is extensive on this close cousin to Streamline.
