New member Richard Scoby in California
Hi,
I'm a new member from Southern California who has been pining for an Airstream for several decades. I'm now the proud owner of a 1988 25' Excella and unable to use it because of the lack of a tow vehicle. We've certainly received a lot of attention with it parked in our driveway for the last nine months.

Welcome!
Welcome Richard.. We happen to think that is a great model trailer.... We bought ours 4 years ago, and did the interior upgrade to eliminate the pinks and mauves and flowers... Huge improvement!
Just wanted to pass along thought that you could tow your trailer with mid-90's Suburban or Yukon, and with gas spiraling up again, many of those with good bodies and reliable engines are languishing on used car or truck lots at prices around $5K... May not have all the latest CD players and multiple airbags, but you'd be on the road, and wouldn't have to use it or put gas in it other than when used for towing...

Never mind.. I see it's for sale.
Richard-
Sorry to see it's for sale, but it sure does have the lovely pink curtains and salmon mini-blinds we remembered... Looks like great condition for someone looking for a 25 rear queen...

Hi Richard,
We have a 32ft. 1986 Excella, we pull it with our 1996 GMC.
We haven't had any trouble. We're to going to Reno tomorrow with it.
The GMC does good going up the mountains.
