I owned an Airstream for 14 years but sold it when we could no longer travel due to my wifes health. Am now a widower but still have the urge to travel, so am looking for a small Airstream----in good shape so I can 'take my bed with me'! I still feel 'young enough' to travel even tho' the calendar keeps counting up 1 year at a time. There are a lot of places in the U.S. I haven't seen yet. I'm a retired Electrical Engineer and like to 'fix' things, so feel like I can keep a good Airstream running for as long as the Good Lord is willing to leave me on this Earth.

I'm currently in the Tampa area, about to accept a new job. Considering storing my 2004 25 foot Six Sleeper Safar, or selling it. Thought I should give a reply to you as the timing seems right on.

This is a great place to find all sorts of information. Try our classifieds...you might find something in your geographical neighborhood there...

You might also look at the rally threads/calendar on the blue toolbar. It is a great place for you to meet new friends and attend Airstream events. Lots of families, singles, couples, attend and everyone is welcomed! You will have fun no matter what the age!
