Hi all from Terry & Deb in LaCenter, Washington. A few weeks ago we bought our first Airstream. A charming 1977, 31' Soveriegn. We think she (Lucy) is in very good condition for being 30 years old. She needs brakes, tires, buffing and caulking to start with. We are having fun fixing her up and are excited to get her on the road by summer, maybe even spring.

Cheers,
TD

Welcome

Learn to use the "search" feature here. It will help you answer virtually any question you have about fixing up your older Airstream. One thing... if you remove anything, offer it for trade, give away or sale here... DO NOT just throw it out. Someone wants almost anything you no longer treasure.

Hello Terry & Deb -- and welcome to the Forums! You'll always have odd questions come up. Each of us can muddle through with some solution but I'm constantly amazed at the level of experience that Airstreamers share here. Like Paula says, use the search function -- and check out the subforum areas in the Forums page at top left. And don't be afraid to ask. This is a fun place to hang around.

Welcome

Let me add our Welcome. It is a testament to AS that there product holds up so well after 30 plus years. We have a 1972 Excella 500 (Stella). I echo the search use but remember to join in and ask questions and post your thoughts to others questions. Most of all enjoy this virtual community.
