Hi and welcome to the forums. we have lots of Airstream junkies here and they are happy to help. Check out this thread for a list of folks who might be available to inspect a trailer prior to purchase - or simply post your question here - photos are always a great help.

Take a look at this document http://www.vintageairstream.com/rr_t...condition.html it is a price / condition guide for older Airstreams. The prices have not been adjusted lately, but it points out many of the conditions that you should look out for. Good luck with the Overlander and welcome to the forum.

We also used the price vs condition chart on vintageairstream.com
On the vintage airstream site there are also other articles which might give you an idea of things to look for and check on.

Episode 2

Listen to Episode 2 of theVAP at www.theVAP.com and we talk about what to look for in buying a Vintage trailer. It might be Episode 3, but I think it was Ep 2. Thanks for listening!

You need to know that year did not have a wash (gray) water tank. This can be a pain. Don't rush in, there are always trailers around. Educate yourself and you'll save time and money. Of course you might just get lucky.
