new member, not yet an owner

Hello everyone. I have gazed longingly at Airstreams for many, many years. As I approach retirement age - though not retirement! - I am getting closer to owning my very own Airstream. I may quite possibly end up having it as my home. I'm not sure how much that's possible up here in Maine, but I'd appreciate any advice or comments! I'm a huge fan of all things retro, and the Airstream is a perfect example of a lovely old design. I loom forward to learning from all of you.

I live in the United Kingdom, purchased my '65 Globetrotter from a great dealer in New York state and shipped it over to England.

Welcome to the forums - I am redoing my Overlander (have been for almost a year). Hopefully will be completed next Spring. I would like to semi-full time (full-time for 9 months at a time). Good luck on your search.
