New Member Introduction

Hello Members...
I'm a new member. We call Michigan home, although we spend much time in Colorado and the southwest, as we have family in the Denver area. First Airstream was a 2006 25' Safari, which we traded for a 2010 30' Classic. Both have been OK, with the usual bolt and screw tightening required. The 2010 had two power jack failures, but both failures were within the warranty period and were replaced by the manufacturer, based in Battle Creek, MI. I retired from the USAF in June 2000, after serving 11 years active duty and 26 years in the Air Force Reserve. Also retired in 2004 from a career in TV Broadcasting, a field I entered while in college studying electrical engineering. I look forward to following the Airstream Forums to become more familiar with maintenance and how-to's regarding the trailer.

Howdy. Former Michiganian here, then Hoosier, and now Texan. We have an 08 Classic, 30'. No problems of note so far, knock on wood. Hope to see you down the road.
