My wife and I bought an 27ft Overlander in 2000 and toured the country as well as Mexico as a 'gap' year. Best time of our lives - we weren't even married yet.
For the last 17 years we have been touring for vacations year on year off with our kids. We typically leave the AS in the place we ended our trip. It's been in the Canadian Rockies for the last ten years or so.
We are back up there next month for a few weeks and intend to come back to Jackson Hole to see the sun eclipse.
I have just bought a second 27 footer from my neighbor and am restoring this, focusing the basics first (water, electricity, etc.) here is a pick of it.
Very much enjoy reading the different posts and learning from you all. I am not technical, but I love working on my trailer.
