Talking New Member in VA

Hi Everyone!

Well, I have made one post prior to this one, and managed to put it in the wrong part of the Forum . . . Oh Well!

My wife & I just purchased a new 2011 International 23FB this past weekend, and look forward to picking it up in a couple weeks!

We look forward to meeting many of you (virtually & in person) over the next few years!

Chris & Priscilla

Virginia Highland Haven in Copper Hill, Virginia. An Airstream only campground with full hookups. It is a great place in the mountains near the Blue Ridge Parkway. There are other Airstream only parks in Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Texas, Washington, Arizona, Oklahoma. Do an Internet search to learn more.

Greetings to a fellow engineer! I'm also a civil engineer (Okalhoma State, 1981). Look forward to your continued participation in the Airforums, and maybe we'll run across each other sometime on the road.

Have you all been to Trailer Buff? It's an airstream restoration shop. I've only stopped by and seen the outside (and the impressive collection behind the shop). They have tours on Fri. I'm over in Charlottesville, but love Nelson county and all the area around it!

Airstream newbies looking for our airstream!

My husband and I have met such helpful, friendly, nice people here, and we haven't even become Airstream owners yet! Thanks all for your advice and friendship.
We live in the Charlottesville Va area and hope to find an Airstream sometime soon (30' or longer).

Welcome,, and the next few weeks are going to drag on and on.. But soon it will be parked outside your window and you will find yourself just standing and watching it for hours a day.. I did anyway..

Don't know much about any Airstream parks,, groups as we are stuck in the flat lands of NW Kansas.. One working stop lite in over 900 sq miles..

That was our largest problem of finding our Overlander after a 5 year off and on search.. Seems they all are for sale in the SW and the SE part of the nation..

2012 Ram 1500 Tradesman Hemi, 4x4, 6 speed

20mpg empty, 14 mpg with 27' Overlander.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life!
