New Member Here

Hi! Just thought I would introduce myself. I currently do not own an Airstream but am researching them for possible future purchase. My husband and I do plan on fulltiming and we want something easy to tow and something that will last. We are not new to RVing, currently own a Hi-Lo that we use for weekend camping trips. I'll probably be more of a lurker here than a poster - until that time that we purchase an AS for ourselves!

Welcome to the forums. I have a 63 24' Tradewind. This Airstream is the best and most fun rv i have ever owned. These forums provide so much advice in all aspects of owning an AS. If you come to these forums often you might get bit with the incurable bug. Only owning an AS will make it better, but remember it is incurable. Good Luck!!

Hello Nancy;
Welcome to the forums. Have you decided what age of an A/S you are thinking about. If you get one that is over 25 years old you can also join the Vintage A/S group. Another group is the Classic A/S Club. Whatever you end up buying you can depend upon plenty of suppport from forum members and A/S owners in general.
Welcome and Merry Christmas.

Welcome from the Florida Panhandle

Welcome to the Forums, Nancy. We're glad to have you with us.

No need to be a lurker. Ask any questions that you may. Questions and research now will insure that you make wise Airstream decisions.

Hi Nancy
I am a new member too, having just bought a 1978 Sovereign in May 2008. We have been really happy with our Airstream. Until you have one of your own and are able to poke around and really explore and enjoy it, you don't realize what a fantastic quality trailer they are. Good luck finding one of your own. Air Forum has been an amazing tool to connect with other streamers. You can find pretty much anything on here. We also joined the Wally Club as soon as we got our airstream, which was a great way to meet more airstreamers and get out in it even more.
Have a great Christmas- Would an airstream fit down your chimney?

I'm curious what other Airstreams you've owned and why you consider the 63 24' Tradewind to be the most fun.
