Beautiful. We looked at that model too, and thought it was really nice. We ended up buying an Interstate instead, but that model is a beauty.

Welcome and invitation to join the Airstream San Diego Unit of WBCCI
Hello and welcome,
Would love to meet you & admire your shiny new trailer at our local rallies, My Business - Rally list* look down the page*.
Make sure you watch out for filiform since that's the price we pay for being close to the ocean!

Can anyone recommend a place near Carlsbad that provides indoor RV storage? Thank you.

We store ours in Spring Valley, 20 minutes east of downtown. Indoors = $168/month. It's $7 per foot.
I know that's not close to you, but just wanted to give you some idea of what else might be out there.

Yes, it is expensive. The previous owner of our trailer stored it there, but he probably had a shorter space because he told us he paid ~$250 for the spot. Still too expensive for us, so she's been stored outdoors and now noticing more filiform developing.

I store a 25' MH at Campland By The Bay as it's walking distance from our winter apt. in PB for $180 a month in a secure fenced area.

Welcome aboard!
Living near the coast prevents some corrosion issues for your new Airstream. It is easy to apply corrosion preventive products as soon as you bring it home, and much more difficult to fix it after it happens. Here is a huge thread on the topic. In the latter part of the thread there are good methods described to inspect, apply preventive products (CorrosionX and Boeshield T9 are good ones), and repair affected areas to prevent spread.

I purchased the corrosion x aviation spray, but I am going to get a quote to take it to an official corrosion x aviation treatment centers. There is one in Riverside that I requested a quote from. Thanks again for all of the great feedback. It seems like this corrosion problem is widespread and I want to protect my investment.

Thank you. I got the last indoor spot at Solana Beach storage. I like that they have 24/7 access.
