New member from NC and new to AS

Hi folks, I'm a new member of this Great site and new to AS but not rving. Just bought my first AS, 1961 Safari 22' (46 years old). She's in great shape , interior 95% and exterior 98%. Exterior has one dent on top rear and a couple of tears on the very bottom. Need new propane tanks, new lock for storage door on rear and side, repair door catch, then polish and clear coat. Interior-TLC, replace floor covering, frig, counter top and shower curtain. I will replace water tank and water heater (maybe a "point of use". A/C is cold. ASAP will post pics but need instructions using a digital camera. I use Kodak Easy Share. And will ask some "how to" and "what's this" questions. In advance, thanks for replies and suggestions. Not that I want to sell, but wonder what she's worth as is. I may have gotten a deal based on that.

Hi Neighbor and welcome! As far as the Kodak Easy share...I just pull the chip and use a universal card reader to pull the pictures over to the computer. Kodak wanted to put on a whole suite of software and I already have enough photo software on my 'puter.
Your Airstream sounds like a very nice one...wanna park it at my house and see if some of that niceness will rub off on my wrecks

Aaron

MGann, welcome to the forums! The folks at Out of Doors Mart are likely the closest AS dealer and nice folks with lots of what you'll need. The price you paid for the AS is your down payment. What you end up paying for the unit is up to you....
AARON could be your new best friend. He's just up the road in Spring Lake and knows a lot about taking AS TT's apart. His wife is not sure he's that good at putting them back together but at least he knows how to take them apart.
Good luck with your new hobby. See you down the road.
