We purchased our 2014 International Serenity 25FB in Jan but she has been in storage and winterized so we haven't been able to take her out.

Crazily, we are leaving April 1 for a 7 week adventure. My mom, and our dog will be traveling with us.

Ive alternated between trying to think of every possible thing I might need and the "we can buy it on the road" attitude. Anyway it should be interesting and I can't wait.

We are like many Airstreamers and hitting the road to visit the National Parks. We are starting in Hot Springs, AR - going to Big Bend and winding our way around to Yosemite in May.

Having done similar in our first year of ownership, I suggest you weekend first near or at home in the driveway to test all your systems and re-familiarize yourself before departure. That way you'll have time for repairs/adjustments/etc., before discovering an issue a long day away from home with an upset peanut gallery. There's a great place for a weekend or just an overnight across the Mississippi in West Memphis at Tom Sawyer's. http://tomsawyerrvpark.com

Otherwise, your upcoming trip sounds terrific.

Welcome. A local over nighter done two weeks before departure testing all the systems before all the stuff is loaded makes a lot of sense. Then there is still time to get a repair accomplished without messing up your schedule.

If you have a tire with a slow leak, try a different valve cap and see if that stops the leak. Had a defective valve cap incident happen on a motorcycle trip once. It began pushing on the shredder valve and letting the air out very slowly.

X2 on above suggestions. A couple nights in your driveway or close by could yield major benefits before heading out, enjoy your trip!

Suggestions above are good ones. Really important to know for sure that everything works before you head out. If you have not pulled a trailer before, be sure you take steps to make sure you feel comfortable.
If you are going to stay in Big Bend, check about making reservations. There is at least one, I believe, that has some hookups. In Big Bend, make sure there are other campers in the area where you are staying. Be sure to go up to the Basin. Your trailer is too big to tow there but it is a nice drive.

Welcome to the forums. Don't know if you are aware but the Memphis Unit of WBBCI has a modified boondock event schedule March 10th - 13th at the Nathan Bedford State Park.
