New member from Canada

Hello, New member from Canada, I've been lurking for a couple of years, mostly looking for Airstream information. I decided to start looking for an Airstream about 3 years ago. My wife and I decided to start looking for a camper but were disappointed in the condition and rotting in most used trailers and could not justify the amount of money dealers were asking for new disposable models. Although I had been searching for the right Airstream, I ended up with an Avion 34V, mostly based on info on this site I decided that these were at least as good in many ways as Airstreams of the same era. This one is a bit of a project, it's in overall great shape however it's been smoked in for years and disgustingly dirty inside. I currently have it completely gutted while getting everything cleaned and back to usable and comfortable condition. I am still looking for the right Airstream but this Avion will do in the meantime. This site has been an invaluable source of information and I thank everyone who has posted Avion info in the past.

Welcome! You will have to post some pictures for us! It sounds like you will have a nice set up and a nice cousin to AS.
